Blake Boyette

Biography

Blake specializes in representing individuals and businesses in bankruptcy cases filed under Chapters 7, 11, 12, and 13 of the Bankruptcy Code, but often, he is able to find a resolution that allows his client to avoid filing bankruptcy. In addition to being one of the less than 65 attorneys in the State of North Carolina recognized as a Board Certified Specialist in Business and Consumer Bankruptcy, Blake has knowledge and experience in other practice areas as well, such as tax, civil litigation, consumer protection litigation, and agriculture. Blake is especially proud of his extensive work with the farmers of Eastern North Carolina, working hand in hand with his clients to resolve financial issues brought on by natural disasters, falling commodity prices, and difficulties obtaining financing, just to name a few.

Blake was born and raised in Virginia, where he attended the University of Virginia before receiving his Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond School of Law, graduating magna cum laude, while serving the University of Richmond Law Review as the Lead Articles Editor. Soon thereafter, he and his wife relocated to North Carolina, where he and his family, which now includes a daughter and a son, are happy to call home. Blake and his family now live in the Raleigh area and love the outdoors, music, and cooking.
